Karen Smith
Founder and President of Resort Resources, Inc.

Ms. Smith is a native of Seattle, WA, moving to Bend, OR in 1982, to participate in the development of Eagle Crest Resort. Ms. Smith graduated from Linfield College with a B.S. in Business Management, with an emphasis in accounting. Her real estate and property management background includes having served as property manager for New England Fish Company of Seattle, Washington, for 5 years, before joining the Eagle Crest development and managing all administrative aspects of that development through 1988. Ms. Smith has had extensive experience in designing community association governable structures, including share ownership programs.  Her involvement in the development field includes consulting in land issues, governing documents, planning, and association management with a number of projects, including Thousand Trails, Eagle Crest, Trendwest Resorts, Black Butte Ranch, Running Y Ranch Resort, Whale Pointe and Old Bahama Bay. Ms. Smith serves as secretary of numerous association boards, as well as volunteering for various youth organizations in the community.

Aaron Page
Reserve Studies and Property Manager

Aaron Page is the Reserve Study provider and property Site Manager for Resort Resources, Inc. His responsibilities include creating, updating and providing quality detailed annual asset Reserve Studies for clients such as Eagle Crest Resort, Running Y Ranch, Brasada Ranch and a handful of other communities throughout the greater Northwest. He oversees the daily site operation for the 919 Bond Street Owners Association and newly commissioned The Tree Farm community.

Aaron began his career in 1989 with a Sunriver, Oregon builder as a labor and apprentice framer. He then moved through the next 20 years as landscape foreman and supervisor, the owner of a custom floating home contracting firm in Seattle, Washington, with a focus on the Lake Union houseboats, as the owner of a Bend local energy efficiency firm and commercial construction superintendent for Sunwest Builders.

He has attained numerous certifications throughout his career. Some of Aaron’s energy efficiency certifications include Solar Installer Professional, Solar Thermal Installer Professional and holds the NABCEP - PV Installation Professional 2 hour exam certificate. Aaron’s knowledge base extends into physical structural attributes as well. These certifications include Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst, Heating Professional and Envelope Professional. His credentials continue to include a State of Oregon Responsible Managing Individual (RMI), OSHA Construction 10 and 30 Hour certifications.

Mr. Page brings to Resort Resources a well rounded construction knowledge base along with personnel managerial skills and extensive practical software applications. On a personal level he is a father, husband, hay and livestock farmer and avid outdoors person. Aaron currently resides on a 22 acre farm within the Tumalo community.
