Ms. Smith is a native of Seattle, WA, moving to Bend, OR in 1982, to
participate in the development of Eagle Crest Resort. Ms. Smith
graduated from Linfield College with a B.S. in Business Management,
with an emphasis in accounting. Her real estate and property
management background includes having served as property manager for
New England Fish Company of Seattle, Washington, for 5 years, before
joining the Eagle Crest development and managing all administrative
aspects of that development through 1988. Ms. Smith has had
extensive experience in designing community association governable
structures, including share ownership programs. Her
involvement in the development field includes consulting in land
issues, governing documents, planning, and association management with a
number of projects, including Thousand Trails, Eagle Crest, Trendwest Resorts, Black Butte Ranch, Running Y Ranch Resort, Whale
Pointe and Old Bahama Bay. Ms. Smith serves as secretary of numerous
association boards, as well as volunteering for various youth
organizations in the community.

Ms. Edwards was born in Bend, and attended Central Oregon Community
College. She is currently a licensed Real Estate Appraiser and has
been actively involved in the appraisal business since 1992. Ms.
Edwards is a certified Reserve specialist (RS) through the Community
Associations Institute, the only national credential for community
association reserve study providers. Additional experience includes
personal property tax evaluations, property tax appeals, asset
reserve studies and consultant work for a number of development
projects including Brasada Ranch, Eagle Crest Resort, Running Y
Ranch Resort, Sunriver/Crosswater L.L.C., Black Butte Ranch and
Indian Ridge Country Club. Community involvement includes serving on
the Bend Parks and Recreation Foundation Board, past chair of Bend
Parks and Recreations Budget Committee and volunteer for a diverse
group of local charities.
